I don’t measure my mood this way, but I think it can be a useful practice. If I had to guess, I’d say 80/20. Most of the time I’m neutral to positive, while only about 20% of the time I’d feel high highs (going on a local trip, seeing a friend) or low lows (having experienced a failure of some sort).
I’d say my mood is hugely dictated by the entwined forces of stress & sleep. The higher the stress, the crappier my mood and worse my sleep. If I’m undisciplined and have crappy sleep, that bad mood will carry over into the next day, often far longer than I’d like it to.
Is boot camp necessary to excel in UX career??
What is your ratio of positive/neutral/negative moods in the average month?
Great question Sophie!
